# FollowUps

Short next steps after a response, as chips with a lead word: "Then: Shorter · Add numbers".

- **Use it for**: Short next steps after an answer, such as Shorter or More formal.

## Installation

## Usage

## All props

| Prop | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `disabled` | `boolean` |  |
| `items` (required) | `readonly FollowUp[]` |  |
| `label` | `string` | Names the group for assistive technology. |
| `lead` | `string` | Printed before the chips; "Then" by default. |
| `onSelect` (required) | `(item: FollowUp) => void` | Called with the chosen item; your app sends the follow-up and shows what it did. |

## Keyboard

Tab reaches controls; Enter or Space activates buttons. Accordions use arrow keys, Home and End. Select menus support arrows and typeahead; Escape closes menus and dialogs and restores focus.
